HISTORY OF THE MOOD CUSTOMIZABLE RING, SWISS MADE
It's in 2004 that the story begins with the launch of a ring with inventive design, which will quickly become characteristic.
A simple steel ring welcomes, by a simple manipulation, a removable piece that gives its character to the jewel.
Made in many variations, this central piece allows countless compositions. "Choose your mood", the invitation is given to the person wearing it to change the ring according to his mood!
Cédric Chevalley, the designer who designed this jewel, had literally dreamed of it during one of his frequent journeys by train. He then put his talent as a creator and his ingenuity of jewels to transform it into reality.
And once it was realized, the jewel immediately met the enthusiasm of aficionados, seduced by the infinite combinations and the possibility of making it a very personal ring by customizing it easily.

In 2013, the brand entered a new stage of its development, with an augmented structure organized around complementary skills. Defenders of the mood spirit, Stéphanie Pousaz and Arlette Bélat teamed up to reshape the brand.
At designer Cédric Chevalley's side since the birth of the mood brand, excited by this wonderful adventure, and benefiting from a long experience in communication and marketing, Stéphanie Pousaz daily breathes enthusiastic energy into the development of the mood brand and community alike.
Former top athlete, interior designer, and creator of a durable and ethical luggage brand, Arlette Bélat had a rich background when she joined Stéphanie Pousaz. The experience she had acquired, along with her personal skills, made her uniquely qualified to manage the products and develop an efficient management rooted in a respect for both society and the environment.
The shared vision of this dream team? To use the energy that drives them to create jewelry, experiences, meetings, and to share moments or values. Their motto? "Choose your mood: feel good!"

The creator of the ring
Origins of mood take their roots in la Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, well-known for being a source of inspiration and creation by its influence in the world of watchmaking.
Cedric Chevalley, many times rewarded for his contemporary creations, invents the concept of the interchangeable ring in 2004. First, he thinks about a very simple fashion accessory that could be personalized with original pieces put inside the stainless steel structure. Then he brings the ring to life with add-ons made from glass, which is a material he masters with perfection.
